“December The Fourteenth” (Emely 02)

Inspired by and dedicated to Emely Reynoso.

If I asked you to marry me,
Would you say "I Do!" on December the fourteenth?
We would have the wedding somewhere up in Greece,
The honeymoon is set up for it to be in Belize.

Laying on the beach, the sun making you shine,
And all I'm really thinking is that I'm lucky that you're mine.
You're amazing when you wake up, every second you're divine,
But before we get to that, "would you prefer a wedding in July?"

You caught me day dreaming,
I'm sorry, I'm just really
Distracted by the beauty in front of me, my dearly
Perfection of all meaning.

Back to the question at hand.
Let us play pretend
And see if we could stand
Being married to eachother before we start mating and decide to make a band.

It would take me some time and effort to be perfect,
But I can perfectly try and definately be direct.
You would have to show me, what it is that you do like, or let
Me figure it out on my own instead.

Either way I'll give, to you, my best at all times.
I will give you my all in exchange for not one dime.
All I'd really ask, all I'd really want, is not really a crime,
It's just for you to spend your time with me from five to nine.

I would want you to take care of me
So that I can be there when you need
Someone to hold you when the night is coldly
Attacking you inside your bed sheets.

So would you marry me
On December the Fourteenth,
Somewhere up in Greece,
Our honeymoon in Belize.
