A Love Undreamed Of (Version 3)

"A Love Undreamed Of (Version 3)"
By:  Edwin Calvo, Michael Roa, Jennifer Calvo and Vincent Santos

She intoxicates the air
With a flare
That makes you not care
And so you stare

Deep into her eyes
As her beauty is your demise
And you know it's no surprise
That your falling makes her rise

Higher than the skies above.
She flies like a golden dove
Enslaving everyone in her love
A love that is undreamed of.

I see her and I'm left bare
So in her eyes I dare not stare
Therefore, instead, to make it fair
I think myself a beast, I think myself rare.

She thinks herself better than I.
Like the dove she is I let her fly.
I ignore my knowledge I ignore my pride
Because I know she's from a different tribe.

I feel trapped, but know I'm safe,
For her love has me enslaved.
I'm falling deeper, more lonely now
And simply she just walks away.

I try to end her alluring spell;
I try to run, I try to yell.
She knows I'm here, she knows me well;
I can't believe how deep I fell.

Sleep deprived, my thoughts unclear,
I stare bemused as she gets near.
I've fallen for her, in lust, in love,
In this, a love undreamed of.

A love sought by many
And given by one,
Offered by plenty,
Received by none.

There she flies,
Above the clouds in the skies.
Out of reach,
I feel helpless and weak

For I am bound to my feet
And from afar must feel her heat.
Her powers are godlike
And within me love ignites.

Yet here I stand and stare
Without a care
At a golden dove
That, with her wings, spreads winds of love.
