She said to me...

Come close baby hold me in your arms please.
Let's cuddle up a bit and dream of being in Greece.
Let's go to Rome and back and on the way
Let me just say
That you're the best thing that has ever happened to this soul.
So don't go, please don't open that door;
I want you in my life,
Never out of sight
For, you, I do love, my king.

With You In Mind

I can't sleep,
I tried counting sheep,
But I can't seem to keep

The count.
I'm copping out;
I plead the fifth for if not I will shout.

Pout if you will,
I have yet to be able to keep still.
It's like time wants to be killed.

I have no control
I try to ignore
So I do implore

To be able to sleep.
Let my eyelids close please
As I need to be

Well rested for the morrow to come.
Come tomorrow I'll be tired and then some
If I don't manage to sleep and calm

My nerves
As they are indeed stirred
By the sight of your curves.

It's so stuck in my mind
So engraved that I
Can not sleep my good night.

So Awake I do stay
And although the end of today
Has come, to my dreams I must say

That I cannot oblige
With the promise that I
Would dream of an angel tonight.

Yes that angel is you,
Caterpillar in its cocoon
Be banana, I'll be baboon.

If, and only If, you do please
For you I'll get down on my knees,
With kisses I'll shower your feet

And then I'll say...

Will you marry me my queen?

For You, My Rhythm and Blues

"For You, My Rhythm and Blues"
By:  Edwin Calvo

First you lick it
Then you flick it
With your tongue,
Now kiss it.
Back away from her, let her miss it.

Tease her
Slowly let her lose herself then please her
But not before building a plot to the story.
Now tell her that you need her,
Take her to glory.

Beamer, Benz or Bentley.
More like Nissan, Honda, Chevy
But it's not the car that matters
If you love her and can chatter
Up with her friends
Do not just pretend
You must understand
If you ever want to see her again.

Bullshit's
Flying quick
Now the floor is all slick
And slippery
As the plot is thickening
Do stick it in
And let her feel
That the love is real.

Slow-
Show-
Her that you know-
How to control-
Yourself-
and how to pace
Yourself-
So that you may win the race-
Let her relate-
To you-
Dance to your Rhythm and Blues
Too-
Show her what you can do.

Show her you're not a joke
You're for real and you can smoke
Anyone who may stand a foe

Against her or against you for her love.
Show her there's nothing above

Everything else is below
She's number one for sure
Never for show

She's not just a trophy, although she's a trophy wife
There's no one like her or alike
There's no one out there that I like

There's only you
Now listen to my Rhythm and Blues
As you're the one I'm singing it to.

A Love Undreamed Of (Version 3)

"A Love Undreamed Of (Version 3)"
By:  Edwin Calvo, Michael Roa, Jennifer Calvo and Vincent Santos

She intoxicates the air
With a flare
That makes you not care
And so you stare

Deep into her eyes
As her beauty is your demise
And you know it's no surprise
That your falling makes her rise

Higher than the skies above.
She flies like a golden dove
Enslaving everyone in her love
A love that is undreamed of.

I see her and I'm left bare
So in her eyes I dare not stare
Therefore, instead, to make it fair
I think myself a beast, I think myself rare.

She thinks herself better than I.
Like the dove she is I let her fly.
I ignore my knowledge I ignore my pride
Because I know she's from a different tribe.

I feel trapped, but know I'm safe,
For her love has me enslaved.
I'm falling deeper, more lonely now
And simply she just walks away.

I try to end her alluring spell;
I try to run, I try to yell.
She knows I'm here, she knows me well;
I can't believe how deep I fell.

Sleep deprived, my thoughts unclear,
I stare bemused as she gets near.
I've fallen for her, in lust, in love,
In this, a love undreamed of.

A love sought by many
And given by one,
Offered by plenty,
Received by none.

There she flies,
Above the clouds in the skies.
Out of reach,
I feel helpless and weak

For I am bound to my feet
And from afar must feel her heat.
Her powers are godlike
And within me love ignites.

Yet here I stand and stare
Without a care
At a golden dove
That, with her wings, spreads winds of love.

I Am I

Me, really? What must you know?
About myself? Well, I try to uphold
The self for myself I do not know,
Nor do I know where I will go.

I live quizzically, my life,
For i have yet to find my inner light.
That light which defines
Our truth and our might.

I question all for I have yet to understand
Myself, my thoughts and why I pretend.
I pretend, sometimes, that I comprehend
What goes on in my mind even though it is grand.

I try to see although I'm blind.
I use my sight but fail to find
Why it is that I am I,
Why it is that I'm alive.

So when you ask me to speak about me
I am left speechless and quizzically
I try, I do try to tell you, to tell we
Who I am, Who I be.
