Beating In Sync

I can feel your heart beat-beat,

Beating at your chest

Trying to emerge from it.

It screams with it's thumps,

It says, it wants more, this isn't enough.

It wants to be closer to mine,

It wants us to merge, to intertwine.

Beating, yes, it's screaming.

It can't stand the day to day dealing

With being far away from its mate.

I doubt it's hard to believe that mines is feeling the same.

They need each other, close,

Beating in sync forevermore.
